Hi, we're using Households and I have a conundrum for postal mailings.
Due to GDPR we're no longer holding any communication permissions on the HH - these are now housed on Contact Permissions on each adult in the Household. Historically we've written to HHs at the HH level ('replace individuals with HH' option in Lists and Extractions). This is fine if the A1/A2 have both agreed to receive marketing communications by post, and means that we address the letter to both A1/A2 as they would wish.
However if A1 has not agreed to receive postal mailings but A2 has, then we want to be able to reflect that by pulling out the A2 (and not replacing with HH in this instance) and writing to them as the A2 only, with their A2 salutation.
Is anyone else out there handling this in one pass? I'm thinking maybe a special view/ some clever coding in output sets...? Would love to hear from anyone who might have a solution to this.
In hope!
Melanie
