Business Continuity - Square Implementation.

Hello all,

I am fairly new to Tessitura and I have been tasked with setting up Square so our organization. I have several questions about the technology implementation and to get feedback on how the use of Square has worked out for any Tessitura organization that is using or have used it.

I'm looking for someone open to a running dialog as I don't have the budget to confer with the consultant service available for Square set-up.

  • I think you can probably keep this pretty simple. All you need is a new generic payment method inside Tessitura that you will use to pay for orders that you are processing through Square. That payment method will be tagged with a GL just like your existing Tessitura-processed credit card payment methods. To reconcile, just run a report for that payment method from Tessitura, and pull the equivalent report from your Square dashboard, optionally segmenting by time period and/or terminal.
