TNEW and Developer access (also posted in Online & Mobile Forum)

Hey everyone,

Have any of you given "read only" access to your web vendors (who aren't members of the ecosystem of partners) to Tessitura? Our web vendor is asking for access to understand ticketing setup (something I've never heard of in all my years of using Tessitura). If you are using a non-ecosystem web vendor, what access did you give to them to understand Tessitura and the API?

  • This seems very reasonable: they've got a lot to learn if they're really going to build hooks into Tessitura.  I'd start them off with read-only client access in appropriate areas and full REST access in Test.  Then when they've sorted out what they need you can limit the API endpoints in the Live account you give them.  I'd also try to make sure they're hooked up with documentation and developer resources.
