Hello all! I have an odd thing happening with a set of constituents in my database. When using an output set that contains the values Customer_a1_fname and Customer_a1_lname, there are about 500 constituents that all have data in the first and last name fields on the general tab of their constituent records, but who return blank values for Customer_a1_fname and Customer_a1_lname. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to who the constituents are - some were imported when we first moved to Tess years and years ago, and some were manually created by a variety of staff members. MOST of them (estimating about 75%) belong to a household - however, it is not all households in the database, and sometimes it'll be blank for just one member of the household and not the other.
I can't find anything different between a record that returns the correct data for a1_fname/lname and one that doesn't - I spent a while flipping back and forth between two members of a household (one of which who returned blanks and one who worked fine) just to see if I could spot a difference! I am stumped right now. Anyone experience something like this? Thanks for the help!
Are they deceased?
They are not deceased - haven't looked through every one, but I definitely saw multiple of them at a show last week!
Hmmmm.
I'm guessing those are not standard output set elements: we have a custom set called "Old Names" to try and give us the old "Name1/Name2" style output option. I know that we had a lot of trouble with ours, especially after the v14.1 upgrade, and I had to rework them (that was for performance, mostly). I don't know enough about filters yet to know if that could be an issue.
Hi McKenzie, this sounds like it might be a good candidate for a TASK helpdesk ticket, where the Tessitura Support team can look into this for you, and/or checking with the Tessitura administrators in your consortium, if you haven't already.

Thanks, Todd - I'll be sure to do that!
