Hello all! We are starting to tackle our duplicates which have mostly been ignored in the last several years. Does anyone have a auto merge process or clean up procedure that could help get us to a manageable place. I know we will always need to have manual intervention but our duplicates have grown out of control that the task will require many months if not years of full time attention. I have reached out to some that I knew had a process but unfortunately they have left the Tess community.
Hello, Tara! A couple of resources for you:
Here's a link to the PowerPoint from the Wednesday Quick Fire session on Data Hygiene Best Practices: https://www.tessituranetwork.com/Passthrough?itemUri=/tlcc/2018/Pres/08_10_Data_Hygiene.pptm
We also hosted an Open Space Discussion on this very topic that points you to some things folks (Nick Reilingh, Katie Lachance-Duffy, and others) have posted in the forums, on the Tessitura Developer code repository, and in TASK > Shared Reports! Attached are the notes from that session.
Good luck and happy de-duping!
