The documentation for 14.1 states that any user can make a copy of an output set and edit it, but I can't seem to make that work for my own output set. I don't see a Save As option when going into Output Set Manager, and when I try "Save a copy" of the output set from within the new List Manager, it just changes the name of the existing output set without creating a copy.
Is there a way to make a copy of exisiting output sets in 14.1? I have a standard set that is usually used, but sometimes a few things need to be added, and I'd rather not build the whole thing from scratch every time.
(Also, forgive me if this is covered in another thread--the search funtion on TN.com doesn't seem to be working this morning.)
You can do this within List Manager, but it doesn't look available within Output Set Manager:
Hope that helps!
Interesting--does that work for you? Because when I tried it, it just changed the name without actually saving a copy.
It did work for me! Sounds like it might be a separate issue?
Thanks-that's good to hear it works for you. I have a ticket in with support, so hopefully they can figure out the issue.
Hi Leslie,
Were Support able to help you with this? I am having the same issue when trying to copy someone else's output set: It says it saves, but no new set is created or it just saves original set but with the updated name. We are on 14.1.3 and I'm logged in as sys admin.
many thanks, jp
Yes! You should be able to save a copy of an output set by opening a list in list manager, then clicking on the output screen, then selecting the output set you want to save a copy of, then clicking Save a Copy from the Output Elements or Output Filters tab, not the Properties tab.
