Has anyone else run into this. Created new test environment, upgraded to v.14 with no errors. Tried to log in on client and get "Invalid password for User ID". Triple-checked users password. Version for Client files, DB, Seat Server, Services Dashboard, Tessitura Service, Web and Web API all say "Version: 14.1.5.48816, Build: 349, Revision: 48816". Did copy down new PBVM files and Client files and granted write permissions to those folders. The thing I can't figure out is that the account has not been locked out and it's given me that 'Invalid password' error at least 20 times.
I have a ticket in with Tessitura, but thought I'd throw it out to the community. Thanks.
Make sure your TNSrvc user password is syncronized with TIM and the security app. This user is extremely important.
There is a user in security called _TNSvce
And in TIM, the configuration has a place for it. All I'm saying that sometimes these can get out of whack.
Have you tried doing a "drop and recreate logins"? If the SQL logins are out of sync, that will help get them fixed.
If the drop/recreate does not correct the issue - go ahead and clear our the SQL Login password in Security and the system will regenerate a new password.
