Error dialogue that just says "Frame"? Anyone?

Hi All,

This is an intermittent problem that has been plaguing us for months. It's not consistently reproducible which make troubleshooting that much more fun. Anyway, thought I would reach out to the community and see if anyone else has encountered this. This pops up on a local client install on an NCR register and we're running v12.5.1. We host our own instance as well, no cloud.  We have not seen this with users running the client on Citrix. Not positive but I believe there's also inconsistent behavior with the dialogue itself. I think in some circumstances, you can click the Tessitura window behind it and keep working but not always. And secondly, if you click OK, the register will restart. Fun times! Hopefully, we're not alone here and someone has experience and/or a  solution. As always, any help is appreciated.

  • I haven't seen this, but every once in a while we'll get Powerbuilder errors like that.  Usually Tessitura Support has been able to tease out some underlying condition, but I think you'd likely need to have maximum logging on and then manage to reproduce the issue.

    *Edit*: since you're not seeing it on RAMP, and only on certain physical machines, I'm inclined to thing that perhaps a client resource is missing/corrupt?
