We tokenized in December (with Vantiv) and we are now running into some problems. Credit cards that were tokenized by the utility are being declined during online purchases. It appears that having separate merchant IDs for retail, MOTO, and eCommerice may be causing the problem. But we may not have set up our payment method groups correctly before tokenizing. Has anyone else run into issues and how have you resolved it? I would love to hear from other orgs that have successfully tokenized with Vantiv who also have more than one merchant ID account.
Odele Peter, did you ever get this cleared up? We have multiple merchant IDs with Vantiv and are starting to look into tokenization. Thanks in advance!
If I recall correctly (wasn't a first party to the conversation), Vantiv doesn't support tokenization with >1 merchant ID, i.e. we were told we'd have to switch to one.
One of several reasons we are strongly considering switching to Payment Express before we tokenize.

Yes, it was resolved. But it turned out to be a defect that required both Vantiv and the Tessitura Network to solve. We had to upgrade to 14.0.7 for tokenization to work on all platforms that have separate merchant IDs (web, MOTO, and retail).
