EMV (Chip/PIN) Readers at Parking Booths??

Greetings-

We are contemplating what it would take to run a Tessitura workstation at our attended parking booth. The only real issue we see is the EMV readers that we currently use, a Verifon MX915 paired with the triPOS middleware. We have these set up as "signature" card verification method (CVM), so obviously we won't be handing these out the window to patrons in their cars. We also can't take their cards through the window, as we do now (we use Square POS, but are trying to reduce POSs), and fudging a signature. We are looking to be PCI compliant, so mag-swipe is also not an option.

I'm thinking of a fast food drive through situation. I'm assuming McDonalds is PCI compliant at the drive-thru... maybe they are using a legitimate "No CVM" transaction model, but I don't know anything about it.

I called Vantiv, who supplies our EMV readers and the triPOS middleware, and they said the limitation is with the triPOS middleware, and they don't know of a way to turn of the signature CVM.

Does anybody use EMV-ready Tessitura in an attended parking booth situation as described?

Thanks for any info!
