Hi Everyone,
I am interested in talking with any other organization that is;
We are experiencing many ongoing issues with the current "ecosystem" we have built, and I am interested in hearing how anyone else is making this work. Between WIFI and EMV and RAMP and PRINTERS and more, I feel like we just don't have our setup fine-tuned enough. I need our box office to run smoothly and would love any insight that can be provided (or any consultant recomendations to work with us to make things run smoothly).
THANK YOU!

We have up to eight mobile box offices operating in the same day during our Festival. Due to varying wifi connections at each venue, we moved to using mifi (mobile wifi devices) devices at each location to ensure consistent internet access. We also use RAMP and TNEW.
Cool. What do you use as a backup if the service is unavailable?
They operate off of cellular towers and to my knowledge we haven't had those go down. Our contingency plan is the wifi access at each individual venue first, and then we would have to just print tickets and manually take credit cards. None of our venues are more than .5 miles from our administrative offices so we could print things and then run them down to the mobile box office as needed.
Does your mifi allow you to assign ip addresses to each workstation via the mac address or windows workstation name? I am going through the process of moving our workstations with windcave chip readers to a new network. for the port forwarding to work, it seems like each workstation needs to have a static ip.
