I was reviewing this presentation about the use of OCR to automate back-office processes and got to thinking about how organizations handle subscription rollovers, contributions renewals and other such things with paper. This leads me to wonder:

I'm afraid I haven't anything much to offer on this, save that it adds nice fat sums of money to our ROI analyses when it comes to setting up online subscription services.
