Hello,
We have recently started working with TRG and are hoping to be able to use the results from their NCOA scrub to pull address updates back into our Tessitura database. Is anyone out there doing this and willing to share an import file format or any best practices for pulling in TRG specific returns?
Thanks,

Sadie, regarding the question of getting the TRG NCOA data back into Tessitura - this isn't perhaps the answer you're after, but I tried going down that road at a former job and eventually gave up. While it's great that TRG takes care of address clean-up for anything uploaded to them, the complexity of either a) customizing the Tessitura utility to match their data format, or b) manually tweaking the TRG raw data into a format the canned Tessitura utility can work with... neither looked very feasible for us in terms of time or resources. You also might bump into some issues with matching address IDs back into Tessitura if they aren't included in your TRG import files, as well as how TRG structures households differently from Tessitura (if memory serves, TRG builds households based on matching last names and addresses, but two people at the same address with different last names don't get grouped into a TRG household even if your Tessitura data is structured that way).
Ultimately we decided just to look at TRG NCOA and our Tessitura NCOA (using Zeta) as two separate processes - the downside of a bit of redundant cost and labor was easily made up by the gain in everyone's sanity. I'd love to know if anyone else has cracked the code on this though!
