Looking for an opinion about vendor not related to Tessitura

Hello all,

I have found a vendor that I’d like to use for load testing our web site. I’ve researched 4 or 5 of them and this vendor, Cloud Intelligence, will do the testing for me and I really like the reports they provide at the end as they have good analytical information. The only issue is that they are in Israel. I’ve been researching the company and the president and it seems to be legit. I’ve talked to a reference from someone in Israel and that was positive. I’ve asked him for a U.S. reference this morning. They are verified through Paypal for what that’s worth. What do you think about it? Would you go ahead with this?

    Sure, is it expensive?

Have you tried www.loadstorm.com?  I am paying $39 a month for up to 500 users although I think the price just went up.  The nice thing is you get 25 user tests for free and you only need to pay for upgrades monthly as needed.

Forgot to mention, it's helpful for testing our onsite web server where we can manage our IDS, firewalls, etc.  I fired up a load test against one of our hosted sites but kept triggering their security systems (no doubt the signature is similar to a cheap DOS attack).  It was naughty of me and after a couple of days the web host responded by temporarily shut down our site.

I did check them out. They look good but right now I’m looking for an on-demand solution. It says they will be offering that during the first quarter of 2010.

I’m going to go with Cloud Intelligence as I checked the references and I really like the analysis they give.

    Thanks for your input.
