WE WANT TO GO GREEN/DIGITAL

Hello All, 

My Chief Development Officer and I would like to go green/digital with our department paperwork. You know how development people LOVE to have things in their hands. Have any organizations gone through a scan and upload process? I am looking for some suggestions on and implementation and on-going maintenance plan. Did you hire a firm, or do it in house? What kind of timeline did you work with? Did you start with your most recent files and work backward? Any help is appreciated.

  • Good morning Marie,

    As I was finishing out at Tulsa Ballet this past summer, our Director of Development actually made it a summer intern project to get all of our scanned documentation uploaded into Tessitura's Documents for Constituents.

    I will say, however, that this was mostly based around Corporations and Foundations to assist the Grant Writer. There was upload of some Board Member documentation as well. But by no means was it a thorough, 100% of everything, upload to the database.

    It took the intern about a month or so of scanning and uploading and associating those documents to the correct records.
