Is anyone automating invoices? Our group sales manager wants to be able to send invoices to incoming groups and wants to make the process as easy as possible. She would like to have a utility or something similar that would pull the outstanding invoices for a particualr performance and then send an email to the group. I mentioned using Wordfly, but pulling the list and building the email was more steps then she wanted to do. Is there something that's standard that I'm missing that would do this?

We have had a very similar need due to the high volume of invoicing from various programs we have at the museum. We found that there was no easy way to do it around our custom invoice beyond going in every order and initiating it. After working with Tessitura, we looked at Mail2 as an option. We found out while working with Mail2 that The Des Moines Performing Arts Center had just worked with Mail2 and Tessitura to implement an invoice process. We are now working with Mail2 and Tessitura Tech Services to put a similar version in place for us and so far, the testing has gone well.
