Project Management/Time Tracking Solutions/Integrations

Good morning all,

I've just joined the staff of Tulsa Arts Management Consortium, and one of our first discussions has been on the topic of trying to come up with an effective and user-friendly way for our consortium staff members to track time working on projects for our member organizations.

Currently, we're using the built-in Customer Service Issues (CSIs) in the Tessitura client for requests from the member organizations; they enter the CSI against our organization record in the database and then our staff reviews those as they come in and assign tasks as needed.

I know that there are time tracking apps and solutions (we were pointed to http://www.getharvest.com as one such option), but I'm very curious to hear from other Tessitura users--whether consortia or IT/customer service departments at larger organizations--to hear what kinds of solutions have been implemented. Ideally, I'd love to use something that integrates with Tessitura because we're using CSIs to keep all of that request data native to the database.

Looking forward to hearing some success stories and feedback!

Thank you,

Brian

  • Hi Brian

At Milwaukee Arts Partners we’ve been using Spiceworks for support tickets for a few years.  It’s free and completely adequate after some minor customization in setting up organizations, problem type, categories etc.  So when a ticket comes in we can assign it, we know who requested it, what organization it came from and the previously mentioned elements.  On each ticket you can indicate how much time was spent, however, it’s at the ticket level and not the user level.  We don’t track our time spent, but could.
