  • Hi all.  Troy is indeed correct that these Infomaker versions can co-exist on the same workstation/server.  I would highly advise that you keep a good backup of any Infomaker libraries in the v12.1 version.  There is NO downgrade path from 12.6 backwards to 12.1!

We are beta testers at the Science Museum of Minnesota. We purchased licenses for 12.6. The install can coexist with 12.1. All of the libraries had to be upgraded in the folder structure. Once the upgrade was completed on the libraries, all of our custom infomaker reports including the headers came back. Be careful on opening up 12.6 and always verify the folder selection before setting the working library.

  • A quick question, what is the need to keep version 12.1 , if Tessitura had been upgraded to 12.6?

  • Infomaker 12.1 is only needed in the event you are still doing work in a previous version of Tessitura that only supports Infomaker 12.1.  If you have upgraded completely (production and any test/staging environments) to Tessitura v14.0 (which relies on Infomaker 12.6) AND have reliable backups of any libraries migrated to Infomaker 12.6, you can abandon Infomaker 12.1.
