Security for Interns/Volunteers in Tessitura

I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I'm looking for any policies around security rights for interns and volunteers. What do they have access to, what can they do, see, run, etc. We currently don't have a policy and I'm trying to create one but I'd rather not do it from zero if there is something out there that someone is willing to share. I'm trying to limit what they can do in Tessitura (especially since we've had issues in the past) and I'm getting push back so if you have a policy, some insight as to why you made the descions you did would be helpful also.

Thanks,

Melissa

  • Melissa,

We're in a consortium and we recently had some group work thinking about our user levels for security purposes, so this is a fresh topic for us here in Tulsa.

We went ahead with the following basic user groups (ordered from least access to greatest):

    • Executive
    • Trainee
    • Front of House
    • Back of House Tier 1
    • Back of House Tier 2
    • Lead Administrator

It sounds like your interns/volunteers would fall under either our Trainee or Front of House category, depending on what exactly it is they would be tasked with doing. I'm happy some of the permissions we granted/opted to not to grant at those levels if you'd like.

    Thank you,

    Brian
