Hello,
I was wondering if anyone in the netwok had worked with any scripts to automatically generate seasons and performances in their Test environment.
We set up a lot of performances in Test as we are building out new web functionality, and these performances are lost after a Live to Test copy down.
I was envisioning some SQL or API scripts which would automatically create test data for us.
Has anyone tried something like this?

I don't have a script that automatically generates performances, but for my season build this year I created a spreadsheet of performance information that I then imported into our mapping database and ran a script that generated performances from that data.

There is an available tool, the Multi-Event-Build utility, that's been in use at a number of licensees for some time, which can be used to build out performances en masse based on a template. It can't create the seasons for you but it can build a great many performances very quickly.
The Tessitura Technical Services team can assist with installing and configuring this utility.

Thank you for this idea. My ultimate goal is to generate 1 performance in Tessitura for every "busseinss-logic-state" our performances could be in ex: presale X,Y,Z, Premium Ticket, Offsale, Sold Out, Limited Availability, Subscription, Promo Code, etc...
I'm hoping I could create saved templates for these types and then perhaps this tool would be useful. I'll be sure to look in to it.
