We are using MC40 scanners with the android application and NSCAN version 6.0.5.0. For a specific venue we are finding the scanners are often freezing. Though it may be our wifi connection, we are wondering in Datawedge besides the nscan profile if any other profiles should be enabled. I also tried adjusting the Timeout in the system settings in NSCAN from the default of 8 to 30 (leaving the Monitor interval at 10).

I thought I would answer my own question. This turned out to be a wi-fi issue and we had to replace our access point with one that used an older encryption.
