Closing a CSI

Hi Tessitura World,

Is there any way to Close a CSI without it having any actions? I'm able to get the little green tick on if I add an action and then close the action, but can't find any other way of achieving it.

  • I didn't know that, thanks Jonathan. I did notice that all the CSI's for my Customer closed when I saved one. Is that expected behaviou?

  • Hi Debbie,

A CSI category can be set to “Auto-Close” via the checkbox in TR_CUST_ACTIVITY_CATEGORY. When you do this, the CSI is marked Closed as soon as it’s saved. No action necessary.

  • From what I have observed and recently tested: changing the "Auto-Close" flag on a CSI category will cause all existing CSIs of that type to be marked closed, without needing to go into the records and do so manually. However, you cannot choose that only some CSIs of that category will be updated; it's all or nothing.

  • Thanks Jonathan, Thats exactly what I saw happening. It's not really what I want though. Might put in an enhancement request for this.

  • This might be the halfway remedy – in the shared reports there a report that will let you close CSI in groups based on activity, category etc.  That might be something that will assist you.
