Has anyone out there who uses the Vantiv EMV credit card readers experienced any connectivity issues or maintaining a consistant connection with the hardware? Has anyone implemented any modifications to their PC hardware to maintain connectivity?
Loss of connectivity even though everything shows that it is online and sometimes the triPOS service would stop for no reason

We've had that happen a lot and it's usually resolved by restarting the tripos service. We also stopped rebooting the computers at the end of each night. Only when updates are applied. The nightly reboot seemed to cause some issues with the service not starting every time (even though it should).
We havent really modified the hardware to fix anything, but would be interested in what others have to say since we still have intermittent problems.
