Null Printer on Macs

Good morning everyone, My consortium recently switched over to RAMP, and so we need to have each organization add Null Printers to their individual machines, as the old Null Printer was on our old servers. This has been simple enough for most organizations, but I have one that is entirely on Macs, and they are telling em the instructions from the forums aren't working for them. Has anyone installed a Null Printer on a Mac, and if so do you have instructions? I am a PC person and have zero experience with Macs, so any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Matt Lazorwitz
  • I am not a mac person either, but I am assuming this can be done through CUPS. Choose some Generic make and choose Raw. You enable CUPS by opening a browser and typing localhost:631. If is not enabled goto the terminal and enable it. In Terminal type "cupsctl WenInterfacr=yes", no qoutes. Best I have to offer. Travis
