Change Order Date

Deferring to those with more knowledge than I...

Let's say we had to modify a rollover order and in doing so, had to enter a source & an order date to complete the sale.

In SQL, is there any harm updating the roll-over order date and source to a null value so we can have the correct speed of sale information when the customer actually orders or is that a big no-no?

It looked good in Test, but I may be missing something.

We generally do this every year, as orders have to be edited for some reason or other internally, and we don’t want the order date to reflect this edit by staff.  Just update t_order.
