Has anyone played with adding an animated .gif image to a header yet?
If so, have you noticed any problems or client slowdowns from that?
Thanks :)

Hello, We use them. we have a few different colored flashing diamonds. It works well and have not noticed any peformance change.
Hi
We use them as well, we have an indicator to show if we need to take an email address, and also one if the data protection question hasn't been asked. No performance issues that I know of!

Hi,
We use them quite a lot and have experienced no problems whatsoever.
I would always advise compressing the gif files as much as you possibly can (obviously noting the impact on the quality of the image). As is typical for gif files, limiting the colours available will reduce the size of the file.
