Hi there,
Has anyone got their Boca printers working with windows 10? We have them connected via USB and set as generic/text. When I try to print tickets, no print error occurs and the print job appears to go to the Boca, but the Boca does nothing.
Thank you!
Kevin.
Hi Kevin,
Are the printers showing up as a ticket printer in the Preferences menu?

We have 2 BOCAs connected via USB to Win 10 workstations and 3 older BOCAs connected via a USB to Parallel adapter on Win 10 workstations. We have had a couple of quirks but for the most part they have worked just fine. Has the BOCA been used successfully on that workstation before?
When we were on our legacy system we had to use the BOCA drivers and when we switched to Tess we had to uninstall the printer, reinstall using the Generic Driver, and then power off the BOCA for a minute or so and then power back on. They did the same as you described until we power cycled them.
I hope this is helpful.Sincerely,Daniel WilliamsBox Office ManagerFlat Rock Playhouse
Thank you both for the responses!
The Tessitura client sees the Boca just fine, but nothing seems to work for printing. I've tried numerous settings in the print configuration, and power cycling hasn't had any effect... The print job still appears to be sent to the printer, though the "Data" light doesn't ever come on indicating the Boca is receiving the information.
We had the same problem when we upgraded to Windows 10. We uninstalled our Bocas and reinstalled them all, restarted the computer and we could print again. We had to reinstall all of our printers actually, not just the Bocas. Windows 10 seems to keep updating every couple of days and forgets the printer driver regularly. I'll be curious to see if one of the updates is to fix the bug! I'd be curious to know if anyone else h
