Payment Method Query Element and List Criteria

Has anyone created payment methods as query elements?

I am looking to create a query of contributions by payment method such as gift-in-kind or Stock gifts. Also looking to be able to output the payment method.

Thanks for any advice.

    Hi Seth,

    We do have a list criteria for Payment Method, but it's tied specifically to a view that looks at orders rather than at contributions. Along with that we've got a more generic output element for Payment Method.

    I'm happy to share our output element info if that's helpful!

    Thanks for the response. The order payment method and the generic would be great. I am pretty sure I can edit the order element to get it to work for contributions.

    Hi Brendan,

     

    I'd love to share! Unfortunately when I tested the criteria I discovered it did not work as intended, so I'm re-tooling it at the moment. I'll send it to you when I have it working!

    Hi Stacey,

    Did you ever get this tweaked?  I'm looking a pulling a list of stock gifts by payment method and instead of reinventing the wheel, I thought I'd check in.

    Hi Stacey,

    I was also wondering if you were able to get this criteria working. A generic version or a a version tied to orders should work for our purposes. We're trying to identify certain on account transactions prior to contribution entry as a dynamic list.
