Seat 'reserved, paid' but no order...

Hia

We have had a situation where a customers order was being processed and there was a network problem halfway through.

The result is a seat that is marked as ‘Reserved, Paid’ but there is no order and no transaction record for it.

I have identified the TX_Seat_Perf record that it is locked with, but am wondering if anyone has a procedural method of freeing up a seat like this? I don’t want to just remove the TX_Perf_Seat record without realising any impacts it may have on other tables etc…?

Any help anyone would give is greatly appreciated! J

Christopher, I see that you have submitted a help ticket about this (thank you) and are getting assistance now.  I did want to mention here though that with one exception, you would never want to delete any rows from TX_PERF_SEAT.  If you delete a row from this table, the seat will be removed from inventory and you would no longer be able to see it on the map or sell it.  The only time a row would be deleted from TX_PERF_SEAT would be in the case where a seat was removed from the seat map in Facility Manager because it no longer exists and the desire is to remove the seat from performance/package inventory that was created before the seat was removed in Facility Manager.  Support is at the ready to give advice about this when the situation arises.
