seats re-assigned to a new section

Hi All:
We're moving to more generic sections, which will enable us to be more flexible with our zones.  The impacts our current season.

We only print zones on our tickets, and only show zones on our website, with occasional lapses (such as the cart, which shows both section and zone).

This has brought up a question:
What scripts need to be run to update the sections for the current season season?

Thanks,

Mark

  • Hi Mark!

We just did the opposite - we added more sections.  We added in TR_SECTION, re-painted the seats in facility manager and did not have to run scripts.  Changes were immediate.

There are scripts to be run when making other facility change - seats added, rows changed, seats changed, aisles changed, contiguity changed, price zones changed, etc.  BUT with v12.5 there is now a utility under reports and utilities you can use instead of having to go to SQL!  Here's some info: http://www.tessituranetwork.com/Help_System_v125/Content/Reports/Facility%20Updates.htm

    Hope you are doing well!
