Loosening Contact Data Requiresments

Hello,

 

We are considering loosening the Contact Data Requirements when creating constituent accounts.


Currently, we require an address. Any constituent for which we do not have an address we have used our work address as a default for it. I am wondering if were to drop the address requirement and remove the dummy addresses if their might be any effects on lists/extractions or anything else I might not be thinking of? (I am assuming I can create a suppression segment to supress anyone without an address if we are doing a mailing?)


Does anyone have any experience with loosening these requirements and have any advice or insight? Thanks!
