T-Stats Postal Code

I love using T-Stats for easy Pivot tables.  My go-to use is for Postal Codes and Geo Area.

Recently though I was doing a simple count for Zip Codes with a list of 108 constituents.  T-Stats only reported back 61???

I did look at the drop for the T-Stat element and clearly it did not have all the possible zip codes.  Is there a rountine "refresh" that supposed to be done so T-Stats can report back on the actual data?

Thanks

  • There should be a nightly job to update the cubes. Have IT guys look into it.

  • Thanks --- I can confirm this must happen since I tried the same report (sane or insane) last night and it worked beautifully.  Good to know

  • Hi Leslie,

Jumping in to mention you may get more responses in the future if you post this type of question in the T-Stats forum rather than the general technical forum.

As it sounds like you've observed, T-Stats is refreshed overnight so  a newly-generated list may contain constituents not yet loaded into T-Stats, but who would be present after the next refresh. This article also goes into some additional details that may be of interest.

  • Amanda  -- Thanks – I didn’t see the T-Stat forum so good to know it’s there – will note for future.    Glad I asked though since our new IT person learned something too. – thanks for taking the time to add this info.  - Leslie
