Households from Individuals

We are having a TUG discussion on use of Households vs Individuals.

1st question - do you have Households with single adults with children?

2nd question - has anyone converted all Individual records to Household records to put everyone on an even keel?

Thanks,

    Hi,

    The Science Museum made the business decision to include children in households, because of our membership structure, predating Tessitura , built around households.

    Children are also patrons of our classes and summer camps, and so we want to distinguish these patron while maintaining them as a subset of the household.

    1. Yes, this is considered a household to here.

    A + A =  H

    A + C =  H

    A + A + C =  H

    2. Individual is not consider a household here.  We tend to disagree on this, but if there is not any affiliates we leave it as and individual account.

    A = I
