Visual Studio Custom SSRS Report Print Crashing

We have a Custom SSRS Report built in Visual Studio which needs to be able to Print WITHOUT having to Save As a PDF.  We have an incredibly high volume of lengthy Registrations that need to be printed quickly and frequently and therefore Save As a PDF is 100% an unacceptable option for us.

- The Print Icon does not work

- File > Print does not work

- We have updated IE on the TessituraWEB Services and this did not work

- Each time I run the Report and Ctrl + P Tessitura crashes

- Currently using Tessitura 12.1.2

Has anyone run in to this same blend of issues?

Thanks!

  • Jolene,

By any chance is it the Active X is not enabled error and then Tessitura locks up? We also had an issue with Tessitura crashing on printing SSRS reports.  Our solution was to use key strokes to open the print screen.  Try HOLD CTRL and click P, this allowed us to open the Select Printer window.

  • Sorry on re-read of your post I see you are already using Cntl +P and it is still crashing.

  • Hi Terry,

No problem - I appreciate that you responded!

We are able to Ctrl + P and select a Printer > Print but after that Tessitura crashes with the following errors:
