Does anyone know if it is possible to format the Check Number field to accept letters in addition to numbers? We would like to try doing so for a very limited number of unique circumstances.

I would also put forth Payment Notes as a great place to record items that won't work in the Check Number field. This was one of my enhancement requests from when I was a user, and I definitely did a little happy dance when it made its appearance!
