Hello!
Has anyone encountered the below error message when doing a data import?
Ticket price is not valid for price type and zone or is below the minimum price or pricetype has not one editable pricemap.
HELP! :-)
JH.
For seats/sublineitems to be imported, a price is determined using four points of data: the product (performance), the order date/time, the price type, and the zone. Start with this in your troubleshooting. Check the price on the All tab of Performance/Pricing for the applicable order date on the Price Type/Zone. Below is the error message divided into its three possibilities:
“Ticket price is not valid for price type and zone”
This indicates that the ticket price does not match the price found for the selected price type and zone for the seat. If prices are not marked as editable (and thus may fluctuate), then the price marked on the import must match the price defined in Pricing Setup.
“or is below the minimum price”
This indicates that the importing seat price falls below the determined price.
“pricetype has not one editable pricemap”
This would only be an issue if you use multiple price layers in your pricing for performances/products. This indicates that the determined pricing has more than one layer marked as editable. Because the import has no way of determining the distribution of a variable price over multiple editable price layers, this type of pricing is not valid for use in the order import. If this turns out to be the culprit, see if you can mark all but one layer as non-editable.
Hope this helps!
