changing who reminders are assigned to

Hi all, (cross-posting in Development as well)

We’ve had some changes in our Development Department, and I’ve been asked to reassign all of one person’s reminders to someone else.  Is there any harm in me running an update statement on tx_sol_task in SQL to swap the solicitor?

Thanks!
Kathleen

  • Hey Kathleen,

I'm not sure about the update statement. You may want to open a help ticket to verify that changes aren't required in other tables (the domino effect!).

But have you looked into leaving the current reminders where they are and setting up the new user as the Reminder Proxy Userid in Preferences. That way you aren't messing with the tables and the new user can see all of those reminders plus any new ones assigned to them.
