I'm not seeing how to do something in BI Studio/SSRS that is easy in Infomaker. I'd like tp break a "row" in my "detail band", to borrow a little Infomaker-speak.
For example, note the single row of data in this section of the Full Bio, with Notes appearing below the rest of the data for that row:In BI Studio, I have a table for Asset data laid out like so:
... and I'd really like to "break" this layout in some way to display the notes below the rest of the data, as in the IM example above.

If your using a table you can add a new row in the table detail section. Then move your notes field into that new row in the detail section. You can do this by first clicking the detail section of the table. Then on the left hand side of the table right click and insert a row above or below.

Thanks for your reply. That's slick. However, now my notes field is as wide as the column in that second row (e.g. the first or second column in my screenshot above), and I'd like the notes field to be wider than that (as it is in the IM screenshot). Is there any way to do this? It doesn't really jibe with the idea of a new row at this point, more like a line break or a wrap of some sort.
Sure just select all the cells in the row, then right click then select merge cells.
