I am creating several Output Set elements from the OutPut Set Builder Cookbook. I have created quite a number of them that work just fine. For example, I'm created the Constuency End Date and Name on page 13 of the Cookbook.
When I go to the Output Set Editor and try to use my new element, I am receiving a error message that's "unfortunately, and irrecoverable application error has occured' and it boots me completely out of the system. The details of the error are 'w_query_parameter_entry.open.520:Null object reference at line 520 in open event of object 'w_query_parameter_entry.(2)'.
I'm getting the exact same error on two other elements I'm trying to create. All three of them have TR_QUERY ELEMENT_PARAMETER lines in addition to the TR_QUERY_ELEMENT line. The others I've created successfully only add a line in the TR_QUERY ELEMENT TABLE.
I've followed the instructions in the Cookbook to a 'T'.
Any ideas out there?
If you have copied and pasted from the Word document and there are quotes involved in any part of the element sometimes they are “Word-ified”. Meaning they aren’t SQL Friendly quotes. The first stop is to delete and retype the quotes after you have pasted them into Tessitura.
If it is still an issue, can you let me know which elements are causing the issues and which version of the Cookbook you are using (v11 or v12 and version month). I have been known to make typos!
Cheers
Sandra

Hi Harley, I think I found the issue. I think you left in the ## instead of entering in the actual number in the parameter. We'll talk more Tuesday. Thanks,
