Hi,
I've been tasked with figuring out how to clean up our email addresses and what record they are 'attached' to in Tessitura.
What's happened is that we are addressing the person by their first name in a post performance email (attendance criteria is on the household level, and household level data is pulled for the output set) and the customer calls or replies letting us know that the email address belongs to their spouse. At that point, I think we know the steps to change the 'owner' of the email address, but we'd like to be more proactive and change our output set to pull the most accurate data.
Is there a list or SQL that can pull all Household records, their affiliates and each email address associated with each account so we can start moving them around?
Obviously, there's not going to be a good way to determine which email belongs to which person except in obvious cases, but I'd like to at least quantify how many accounts would need to be updated.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Tiffany
Hi Tiffany,
You could use an extraction set and the standard extraction output to get this data.
Add a segment with the Constituent Type criterion to find all households.
In the Advanced Relationship Options at the bottom of the criteria set, go to the Add Individuals tab and select the affiliation types you use to add individuals to households.
If you are on v12, you can use the Communication Management settings to limit the constituents in the output to those who have email addresses.
Generate counts for the extraction and then extract constituents to a file.
