Exposing NScan API

Hi All,

Right now our NSCAN api server is only visible to our internal network, but we need to change that so that we can scan at a bunch of different venues.

I think from some of the old posts I've seen people aren't too worried about this, but I was wondering if anyone put extra security measures on their NSCAN api after exposing it to the internet.  For the Tessitura REST and soap APIs we filter out by IP addresses of the various websites that access it.  I don't think that's going to be practical when we let people scan from various wireless networks in venues across town.

I know it's not a PCI issue, but anyone worried about having their scanning open to the internet?

THanks

Henry
