Appeal 'Successful' count not matching 'Trans Processed' responses?

Hi everyone,

Just wondering has anyone come across the problem where the Appeal 'Successful' counts have been lower than the 'Trans Processed' responses shown in the relating Source Code Recipients screen? And if so, is there a way to make them match up, displaying the same quantity in both sections? Please also let me know if you've never had a problem with this therefore confirming there's probably something wrong with our setup.

    I have seen this as well.

    However, for the cases I saw it was due to customers buying zero priced tickets.
    This meant you had a Transaction (there was an order with the source applied and tickets) but no money taken. I have just assumed that to be classed as successful in the appeal count you need to have taken money.

    You might also want to check that AP_UPDATE_APPEAL and AP_UPDATE_CAMPAIGN are running on a regular basis. This won't necessarily fix the problem you are talking about, but it is a good place to start when looking at discrepancies.

  • Thanks for everyone's input - it has been very helpful!

    I've informed our database administrator and he is going to increase the frequency of running the script from weekly to perhaps every second day so we can have a more accurate reading of our 'successful' counts in the Appeals area.
