PAHT Barcodes within email body

Rather than generate a pdf attachment we’d like to experiment with printing the ticket/barcodes inside the body of the PAH email.  Anyone doing this?  Or tried to?

Thanks,

…Dave

Very interested to hear that you are rolling this out. Would like to hear more about how your front of house / customer services / box office is adapting to this approach.

We are in the middle of developing our own app for this since we wanted to get rid of PDFs attachments and we were not able to do this with PAH. If everything goes as planned will be doing a pilot run with some staff in our gala next Wednesday.

Feel free to contact me off-line if you are interested in knowing more details about the path we took.

For those of you following this post, we decided not to go live with our solution for the June season. The main problem is that our current scanners don't work very well with phones' reflective screen. It was a known risk and one of the issues that we wanted to track in our pilot. But our testing show a success rate of about 50%, not good enough. For our upcoming season we'll be using new scanners that are much better when dealing with reflective screens, so we'll postponing our pilot until November.
