Hello All,
We have a strange situation with a Windows 7 64 bit workstation. We have installed the client on this workstation and it ran when first installed. Now, there is a UAC prompt when we try to open it (it didn't do this the first time), and then we get the error:
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4
Security Check Not Done. Cannot connect to the Database !
Error:
DBMS is not supported in your current installation.
I found some other discussions about this error and the fix for me was to delete the shortcut and recopy the shortcut. I copied it to the "public" desktop, and it ran fine...until I rebooted the workstation. After the reboot, I get the same error. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Allen
We usually have the same (or similar) problem and our fix is to re-copy the tessitura.ini file. Even though it’s there and the content it’s exactly the same as the one overwriting it, when we do this, it works ok. It might have to do with permissions.
