Citrix & TNSPay in Tessitura .ini

hi all,

We are using a Citrix environment and TNSPay setup entries in an .ini file, like so:

[cardreader]
type=TNSPAY
[TNSPAY]
We have a number of IP addresses listed just underneath, including ports. Does anybody have any documentation on what these are used for exactly? Is it TNSPay authorisation comms? Or is it something else?
best wishes,
Mike

  • Hi Michal

    The ports and the IP addresses relate to the ports and IP addresses you have setup within your TNS Pay Admin software.  The default port is 30500 and the IP address relates to the IP address of the machine you are running the TNS Payment Client Software.

    So each machine running the software might have its own IP address and its own port.

    We have some of our consortium using the software via RDP and so this IP address would the IP address that relates to the firewall of the consortium partner.  They then NAT this to the local machine and port.

    Does that make sense?

    Thanks

    Nick

  • Thanks Nick!

    It looks like that's exactly spot on.

    best wishes,

    Mike
