We have a scheduled report with a Last Run Date of '2/11/2015' and a Next Run Date showing :Running Now". How can I verify if it is in fact still running? And, if it is still running, how can I stop it?

To see if the report is still running, you should be able to look at the taskbar wherever the report server is installed and there should be something there for each item running at the moment.
To cancel a request go to the queue pane, locate the one you want to cancel and right click. Then select Drop. That will delete the request in question, but the next iteration of the schedule will still happen.
