Our box office team have recently been experiencing occasional serious losses in performance when using the Tessitura client. Sometime the client freezes up while it processes a request for several minutes and stops responding all together. The only change that has really occurred to the affected machines is that they were upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7. So far the slow downs seem to be random but can be resolved by closing the client and reopening it.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this or have any other suggestions what might be causing the issue?
Thanks
Thank you – we are at 12.1.2 and we found we get this error with our remaining XP clients.

Hi Bob,
We were using version 11 at the time but have since upgraded to 12.1.2. We did two things that seemed to fix the issue.
We also considered clearing out out old redundant session data to try and trim the fat a little but so far the effort outweighs the time I have available to do this.
Hope this is of some use.

Hello,
What version of Tessitura are you using? We are having the same issue but with version 12.1.2 with our XP clients. Do you ever identify the slow down.

We updated all our XP machines to Windows 7 when XP reached end of life. However the changes I mentioned previously should generally enhance performance regardless of OS.
Best of luck
