I am hoping someone has done this and can guide me.
We are in a sticky situation. We have a server that has two Tessitura clients on it, a training environment and a testing environment. We are on target to put in version 9 in our test environment however I must leave our training enviornment in 8.0.0.3. Both environments look to the same test credit card server, seat server and report server.
Am I able to upgrade the seat server, report server and credit card server to version 9 and still have my training environment use 8.0.0.3. I guess my question is is it backward compatible, what issues might I encounter?

Just in case anyone else was wondering...
Naomi, there is no upgrade for the seat server in v9 - the same version is used as with v8. And the credit card server issued with v9 is backwards compatible with v8. So you can upgrade the credit card server to v9 and it will work with v8 and the seat server will work with both versions. However, the v9 report server is not backwards compatible with v8 - each version would need a separate instance of the report server.
