We just switched from Transcend to Element and so had to disable the PreAuth button (settling CC_ALLOW_PREAUTH = No in T_Defaults) that used to allow us to pre-authorize a credit card in a controlled batch. Our Direct Sales department misses this feature because it's hard to get back in touch with a Telefunding prospect once they are off the phone.
Has anyone figured out a way to pre-auth a card another way? Do you just do it in non-Controlled batches?
