Gift Aid taking a long time to save

Hi

We've recently started using the built in gift aid functionality in Tessitura, but we are experiencing long delays when anyone adds a new gift aid declaration. All is fine until you click the save button, then there is a delay of about 1 and a half minutes until it adds the record. If you go to edit the record afterwards or delete the record, there is also the delay.

I have run a SQL trace and have found that it is the AP_UPDATE_GIFTAID stored procedure that is taking the time to execute.

Has anyone else experienced this and is it normal?
